ONGC TERI Biotech Limited (OTBL) has recently launched a new educational programme called 'Protectors of the Environment' to sensitize and motivate young school children and adults in environment conservation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This programme will employ several tools such as visual instruction and hands-on application and learning, which are designed to inspire children to translate 'thought' into 'action'.
Today at a triumphant set up, Bestech India Pvt. Ltd. and GRIHA council announced their Collaboration for promotion and implementation of Green Building Concept and Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) rating system for all its projects - current and upcoming Pan India, aggregating nearly 12 million sq. ft.
"Enhancing energy efficiency, ensuring electricity supply and decarbonisation of the power sector are essential for stable economic growth of India. Renewable energy plays an important role here and ensuring its integration with the grid is a key focus area," said Dr Ajay Mathur, Director General, TERI at the 7th India-Japan Energy Forum held today to expand the technology cooperation between the two countries. He added that among the several sectors where India and Japan can collaborate, the transport sector with focus on LNG can be of some interest to India.

In the wake of the worsening air quality in Delhi NCR, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), has submitted a 10-point Emergency Response Plan to the Delhi government and the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC). TERI has recommended that this plan should be enforced immediately in whole of NCR on forecasted days of very high pollution in Delhi. The recommendations are based on TERI’s modelling and technology development experience.
