World Sustainable Development Summit

The World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) is the annual flagship multi-stakeholder convening organized by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). Established in 2001, the Summit has built a legacy of over two decades in advancing sustainable development as a shared global priority.

Over the years, WSDS has brought together heads of state and government, policymakers, scholars, industry leaders, youth, and civil society representatives from across the world. It has emerged as a credible and influential platform for mobilizing thought leaders to drive ambition and advance solutions to some of the most pressing challenges related to sustainable development and climate change.

PM's Message

The Global South bears a disproportionate burden of climate change. Yet for them, development is imperative. Climate Justice is therefore essential.

Developing Nations must eradicate poverty and hunger while safeguarding the planet. This requires technology transfer, financing options and partnerships. Developed countries bear a special responsibility to move faster, live sustainably and deliver finance and technology at scale.
