Study on Energy Conservation in India - Phase 5

The fifth phase of the project aims at promoting power distribution network efficiency in India. The project proposes to analyze factors for T&D (transmission and distribution) losses; AT&C (aggregate technical and commercial) losses; solutions to reduce T&D losses and effect on introducing energy-efficient transformers.

Heavy metal assessment of Yamuna River Water

Heavy metals reach our air, water, and soil predominantly as a result of industrial activities. Rising levels in soil over a long period are a major concern because of health risks caused even by low degree of exposure. Cadmium, Lead and Mercury has been particularly implicated for adverse effects on health.

RETSCREEN training

RETScreen is a free software developed by The Natural Resources, Canada, for evaluating clean energy projects. TERI has experts trained and certified by The Natural Resources, Canada to train engineers and project managers to use RETScreen software. Under this project funded by The Natural Resoruces, Canada TERI will be organising a training workshop.
