The project can help upscale in achieving reduced carbon emissions that can be utilized for attaining carbon credits through existing carbon markets and includes developing a project development document and validation that is together documented in a project application along with the engagement with ClimateSeed for verification and project hosting.

Artificial Fruit ripening agents like Calcium Carbide are widely used for artificial banana fruit ripening which is harmful for both human being and environment due to presence of traces of arsenic and phosphorus.Lack of bio based easier and rapid methods for uniform ripening poses a major problem in the fruit industry. The proposed Project will explore and validate the indigenous knowledge on use of plant materials for ripening of banana.

The campaign entails e-competitions and an online lecture series for students to bring forth our close connect with animals and explain the close linkages that animals in zoos have with the conservation of animals in their wild habitats.
