The objectives of this project are: • To sensitize decision-makers in India to the issues and potential of integrated climate, air pollution and SLCP (short-lived climate pollutants) strategies to provide multiple benefits; • To catalyse action and promote the adoption of more integrated solutions based upon national Indian research and highlighting CCAC (Climate and Clean Air Coalition) experience and knowledge and success stories;
The main objectives of Sunderban Carbon Finance project are: A. Baseline preparation on socio-economic status and livelihood of communities in and around Sundarban Tiger Reserve (STR), West Bengal. B. Assessment of carbon stocks in Sundarban Tiger Reserve, West Bengal. C. Preparation of Project Design Document (PDD) & Monitoring Reports (MRs), validation and verification of projects for Voluntary Carbon Markets. D.
The protected areas in India have been identified to have potential of generating around 10,000,000 Carbon Emission Reduction (CERs), the tradable form of carbon, which could be traded in the carbon market. Finance through carbon related projects could yield additional finance which is required to address the issues of community alternative livelihood and mitigation strategies for human wildlife conflict.

The main objective of project is "To Develop Voluntary carbon market project in Periyar Tiger Reserve (PTR) in India" with the sub-objectives mentioned below: A. Baseline preparation on socio-economic status and livelihood of communities in and around Periyar Tiger Reserve (PTR), Kerala. B. Assessment of carbon stocks in Periyar Tiger Reserve (PTR), Kerala. C. Preparation of Project Description (PD) & Monitoring Report (MR), validation and verification of projects for Voluntary Carbon Markets.
The Green School, a Tata Steel and TERI initiative was launched in April 2017 to create awareness about environment in school networks through curriculum linkages, action projects and capacity building activities by learning the basics on four broad environmental themes viz, energy, water, forests and biodiversity, and waste.
The objective of the study is to examine the present level of energy consumption of various facilities/ equipment and assess their operational performance to identify implementable energy conservation measures (ECMs). The specific objectives of the proposed study are as follows: I) To identify thrust areas for energy conservation. ii) To recommend new energy-efficient technologies and best operating practices. iii) To quantify the extent of energy savings/reduction in energy bills achievable.

The project aims to work out a framework for Triangular Cooperation (India-US-partner country) in Renewable Energy (RE) in the Indo-Asiatic region. It will study the ongoing cooperation efforts with selected 3-4 countries, map India's strengths in supporting RE development in the selected countries and finally suggest a framework for the same.
