The main objectives of this project are to: Develop and pilot test a simple, yet effective and sustainable health facility-based digital application (App) for acute respiratory infections (ARI) surveillance; Assess the quality of information/data collated through the App and assess the appropriateness of reports generated for different stakeholders.
TERI will provide their services as Third Party Quality Assurance Audit Agency on nomination basis. The work assignment includes planning, designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of 6 aerobic drum compost plant. The plant will have capacity 1 TPD each for treating bio-degradable/organic waste at nominated locations under the jurisdiction of NDMC.
TERI will provide their services as Third Party Quality Assurance Audit Agency on nomination basis for the work of planning, designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of 4 numbers of 5 MTPD containerized bio-methanation plants for 5 years for treating bio-degradable to generate electricity and enriched organic manure at nominated locations under the jurisdiction of NDMC.
The main objective of the INOPOL project is to build knowledge and capacity to tackle plastic and chemical pollution from important sources within key industries, public sector, and civil society. The main goals will be to provide science-based knowledge that will support India’s ambitious targets to reduce plastic releases and to implement the Stockholm Convention on persistent organic pollutants.
The main objective of electricity industry is to achieve customer satisfaction through generation of electricity of the right quality and quantity at an affordable cost, by several critical tasks that require skilled engineers, supervisors, and managers etc. The technical knowledge and skills pioneered over the years need to be supplemented with applied engineering and managerial skills.
Access to safe and affordable drinking water for all is a big challenge that India is facing with coverage of tap water supply in rural India being limited to <20%. With this challenge in the perspective, Government of India has launched the 'Jal Jeevan Mission' with an aim to provide tap water connection to every rural household by 2024. It is estimated that close to 140 million people in India are devoid of water supply, and the government has allocated an amount of 115 Billion Rupees for the year 2020-21.
Chilli anthracnose is one of the most devastating fungal diseases affecting the quality and yield production of chilli. In India, primarily, C. capsici and C. gleosporoides are the main Colletotrichum species causing major damage on the green as well as red ripe stages of chilli fruits. Although, these fungi can also cause lesions on the leaves and stems, the most economically important damage results from the fruit rot symptoms.
The objectives of this project are to: (1) Understand the status of coal washing in India for non-coking coal; and (2) Assess environmental and economic impact on coal washing, transportation, power plant and any other area which is affected directly or indirectly.
Global warming is causing a rapid rise in temperature in certain high-altitude zones, which include the Indian Himalayan region (IHR). Glacier melting in Himalayas will affect freshwater flows and have an adverse impact on biodiversity as well as human settlements and their livelihoods.
