The main objective of the proposed study is to evaluate the micropropagation protocol of Jatropha curcas developed by DRDO for its efficiency and suitability for two Jatropha clones identified by DRDO and convert the lab scale protocol into a commercially viable one through desired refinements
The project is to analyse the rural electrification strategy in the state of Andhara Predesh, Karnataka and Orisse. The study will focus on the efficacy of the RGGVY scheme in addressing the access to rural electrification within these states.
The main objective of this project is to conduct a detailed survey regarding the status of Jatropha plantations in nine states of India - Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajathan, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

The main objective of the proposed project is to sensitize and enhance the technical capability of all the ranks of horticulture department of Meghalaya associated with upcoming tissue culture production facility in Shillong with various aspects of commercial tissue culture for efficient running and optimal utilization of the facility.
The project is intended to carry out energy audit of the Southern Generating Station of CESC, Kolkata with the following objectives: - To carry out a detailed performance evaluation of major auxiliaries in the power plant (as defined under scope of work) with a view to identify thrust areas for energy conservation.
The project will study Japanese energy consumption statistic survey system as a reference case and possibilities of introducing the same in India. It will also interact with BEE focussing on the e-filing system for collection of energy consumption details of the designated consumers.

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) under Jatropha Micromission is collecting Jatropha accessions from across the country and producing quality planting material of Jatropha based on oil content (30-40%). The programme is supported at 14 centres including a centralized facility for oil testing and molecular characterization.
