Annual statutory report for the ULB (Urban Local Body). It analysis the status of resources in the Municipal corporation and the environmental Performance of the last in one financial year.
The report shall present the statistical compilation of the water quality data monitored and recorded across all the water quality monitoring stations by MPCB in a very lucid format for the year 2014-15.
A comprehensive program to address malnourishment in the tribal and rural blocks.
This project will examine the gender dimension of emerging electricity systems in East Africa and South Asia and their social effects. Through empirical investigation we will compare centralised (grid) and decentralised systems and also study how such systems work in parallel and/or complement each other.
Statistical compilation and data analysis for the air quality data monitored and compiled by MPCB under NAMP program.
Statistical compilation and data analysis for the air quality data monitored and compiled by MPCB under NAMP program.
The project involved assessment of bioenergy production from the indigenous resources of Maldives. Fish waste and algal biofuels was looked into as options for renewable energy production in the country. The study also analysed the current situation, prospects and possibilities with regard to bioenergy production and utlization in Maldives.
The study deals with occupant comfort aspect in terms of indoor air quality in air-conditioned office environment in tropical climates. It involves monitoring and analysis of indoor air pollutants with a focus on formaldehyde presence.
The main objective of this project is to carry forward and upscale the work initiated by TERI for production of methane from coal through microbial intervention. The project aims at design, development and demonstration of an up-scaling protocol for a microbial consortium, already developed in the previous phase of the study, for enhancing methane recovery from coal.
An algal photobioreactor design, based on sunlight distribution, is being developed for 2-4 times improvement in areal productivity after initial tests. Harvesting microalgae has been a decisive barrier in the algal biofuel field. A process based on specific harvest features of algae and an in-situ collection mechanism in the growth system itself is being developed.
