The main objectives of the project are: (1) category-wise demand forecasting both energy and power for the state corresponding to each year of the Eleventh Plan Period (2007-12); (2) year-wise supply side assessment for the existing, under construction, and sanctioned generating power stations for the state corresponding to the Eleventh Plan Period (2007-12);
The project aims at development of efficient detection strategy of MIC (microbial induced corrosion) causing microbial strains in the pipelines so that the extensive damage is prevented by not allowing these microbes to colonize in the pipelines.
This project would essentially characterize the arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal germplasm collected over a period of 10 years in the Centre for Mycorrhizal Culture Collection (CMCC) at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).
The Japan Consulting Institute proposes to set up a CDM (clean development mechanism) Promotion Platform Scheme, which will provide an opportunity for interaction between the EPC suppliers possessing unique technology in the areas of energy conservation and air pollution control in Japan and industries in India that may want to use these technologies to develop the CDM projects.
Central Silk Board, implemented Catalytic Development Programme (CDP) during 10th Five Year Plan in order to boost the sericulture sector in the country. The larger goal of the programme was to enhance the production of raw silk in the country and fulfill the domestic demand of raw silk.
India''s Mobile Air-Conditoning (MAC) study is about the mobile air-conditioners which results in the direct emissions of chlorofloro carbon (CFC refrigerant), and the indirect emissions of CO2 generated by the extra fuel required to power the A/C system.
The objectives are (1) to develop an implementation model to strengthen education infrastructure, (2) to improve access to education through the use of renewable energy technologies.
