Detection and control of microbial-induced corrosion in oil and gas pipelines through a biotechnological approach

The project aims at development of efficient detection strategy of MIC (microbial induced corrosion) causing microbial strains in the pipelines so that the extensive damage is prevented by not allowing these microbes to colonize in the pipelines.
