-- Formulate the set of "Design guidelines for energy efficient buildings", and print 1000 copies of the Guidelines -- Prepare another set of guidelines easy to adopt, well illustrated and understandable by common man in the form of "Home owners information brochure". It would guide home owners to achieve energy efficiency in existing homes with ensured reduction in electricity consumption.
This project proposes to build a website for energy efficient technologies information for sugar, fertiliser and paper and pulp sector, a database of Indian energy Literature, and provide e- reference service to remote users
TERI was selected by the Ministry of Environment and Forests to conduct a one-week training course for Indian Forest Service officers on "Development of Clean Development Mechanism Projects under Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry: Theory and Practice."

The main objective of the course is to impart hands-on training in research techniques on mycorrhizal research so that the participants can apply them in their research programmes. Therefore, besides demonstrating the techniques, participants should be encoraged to carry out the techniques/laboratory exercises themselves. Specific objectives include:
To understand the context and meaning of compensation to resource bearing states (Hydropower, coal, selected major minerals, oil and natural gas). In this proposal, we intend to a) estimate the molecular genetic diversity of Jatropha curcas accessions characterised for oil content and agronomic traits under DBT funded network project, b) development of a molecular linkage map using AFLP markers and c) identification of molecular markers linked with genes /QTLs controlling seed yield and oil content.
