The present study provides a synoptic documentation of the history of water infrastructure development over transboundary rivers in the Ganga (or the Ganges) sub-basin, involving Nepal, India and Bangladesh as the three riparian nations. The various water infrastructure actors at different levels are identified along with a discussion of the associated hydropolitics.

The project aims at developing procedures for DNA Barcoding in Bambusa spp. (Bamboos) using internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region of the nuclear ribosomal RNA
This project funded by Department of Environment, Government of NCTD involves preparation of SoE report for Delhi following Pressure-State-Impact-Response (PSIR) framework and in the process updating earlier report prepared by TERI in the year 2001.
(i) Review ADB-financed programs with environmental objectives and assess their relevance, effectiveness, sustainability, and impact with regard to improving the environment; (ii) Assess how ADB¿s operations in India have mainstreamed environmental sustainability; (iii) Organize and facilitate focus group interviews, as required, to obtain feedback from EAs and other
This project is the part of the larger project " Rehabilitation of redmud pond at INDAL, conducted by TERI in 2003-04". During the first phase of the project, TERI has conducted the research at Gwal pahari. In the second phase, TERI has implemnted the results of the first phase in 1 ha area at INDAL, Belgaum, Karnataka on experimental basis.
The larger goal of the project is to develop green cover in the entire red mud ponds of HINDALCO, Muri and convert the red mud deposits, which is inhospitable for plants, to a substrate which will allow them to grow and develop by improving its physical and physico-chemical conditions, and removing the inhibiting substances by means of low-cost additives and treatments.
With the finite sources of fossil fuel reserves, there is an urgent need to look into the different sources of renewable sources of energy. Biohydrogen production a microbial way of releasing stress is a possible way to exploit it for the production of the clean fuel hydrogen for commercial utilization and also a means to mitigate the ill effects of the fossil fuel based energy sources.
TO PROVIDE INPUTS FOR THE WORLD ENERGY OUTLOOK 2007
In a race to be the richest, strongest and most developed... nations surge ahead thoughtlessly. The depletion of resources seems incessant and the quest for energy, endless. A warmer planet has set the alarm bells ringing. As a question mark looms over the future of energy security, the world has started looking for solutions. Renewables are defining the energy future for India.
