In February 2026, TERI successfully delivered a six-day residential Capacity Building and Training Programme for officials and frontline staff of the Mangrove Cell, Palghar Forest Department, demonstrating TERI's end-to-end capability from programme design to field implementation.

Boswellia serrata is a valuable tree for producing pharmaceutically important gum and resin, but it is considered an endangered species. The current project aims to genetically identify elite Boswellia serrata for its conservation and multiplication to ensure the species' sustainable availability at an affordable cost.
