TERI is empanelled by the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation)/SCAAP (Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme), Government of India, for conducting this programme. DISLP course is being offered under this programme for the year 2010/11. The Course aims to build the capacity of organizations and individuals from developing countries, enabling them to apply the enhanced knowledge and skills in large-scale generation of sustainable livelihoods utilizing solar PV technology.

To organise a two-day India policy workshop on the status of MAC replacement technologies. The overall objective of the workshop is to contribute towards the reduction of direct and indirect releases or emissions of ozone depleting substances (HCFCs) and greenhouse gases (HCFCs and HFCs) both through promotion of zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP) alternatives as well as promotion of best practices and better engineered and energy efficient technology.

To carry out a detailed performance evaluation of major equipments and auxiliaries in the LPG import/export terminal with a view to identify thrust areas for energy conservation. b. The main objectives of the project are:
- To devise natural, practical and sustainable strategies to control Algal blooms and to improve water quality and appearance of water of water bodies at the Central Park.
- Improvement in the qualitative aspects of water such as reduction in PH value, suspended particulate matter, coloration etc. through natural methods without any application of harsh, toxic chemicasl
- To establish a symbiotic fresh water ecosystem of natural acquatic life at the Central Park on a long term sustainable basis.

The salient features of the project:
1. The project is the first unique demonstration effort in the entire MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region).
2. Setting up of an ERC focusing on fresh water ecosystems with an objective to generate scientific information through research, compilation of data in the form of a database and books, dissemination of information through awareness programs for educational institutions & visitors to the centre. ERC would organize special nature trails for students.

Consumer grievance redressal (CGR) is an important function of an efficient, responsive, and transparent municipal body. The purpose of a grievance redressal mechanism is to provide a platform for citizens to lodge their complaints related to various services they receive from the municipal body, voice their opinions, and provide feedback on various services rendered by the urban local bodies. This study envisages a critical assessment of the existing CGR systems in municipal bodies with the objective of strengthening the sytem in two selected cities.
