Considering India's dynamically changing energy use landscape and recent policy interventions to improve air quality, there is a need to update air pollution emission inventories
As a 'Sustainability Partner' to Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority, TERI is providing technical inputs and handholding support in planning for upcoming urban and infrastructure development at the new capital city of Amaravati.
The proposed super speciality hospital for Dr. B. C. Roy Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has been designed on an area of 45980 sq.m. The ground coverage is 5674 sq.m with approximate built up area is 37674 sq.m.
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) regularly monitors the qualitative state of the water resources across the state as well as the air quality across various locations in the state. TERI has been extending support to the State Pollution Control Board in sorting and analyzing the data sets whilst developing graphical and spatial illustrations.
Enzymatic retting and processing of banana fibers with mycogenic pectinase supported by standardization of effective surface modification treatments parameter through mycogenic laccase enzymes will results in solution of simple processing and their utilization perspective as renewable fiber sources to open the ways for industrial areas of uses.
Tomato is one of the most significant vegetable crops grown worldwide. However, important traits such as pollen meiosis, germination, ovule development, viability and development of the embryo and fruit set of most tomato cultivars are adversely affected under temperatures higher than 35°C. This leads to non-availability in certain months.
A project supported by GIZ assesses the ecological baseline of the coastal marine protected area – the Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in Chorao, Goa. The broad objectives of this project is conducting review and suggest participatory management of the Island estuarine ecosystem and to conduct baseline assessment of ecological status of the marine protected area.
The main objectives are to: • Organise a series of interviews with Indian CDM project participants TERI would arrange 5-6 meetings (online zoom) with Indian CDM project participants. Project participants would be nominated after consultation with IGES. • Analyse views on the future CDM market in India.
The Government of India is setting up a permanent campus for Indian Institute of Technology at Bhillai, Chhattisgarh. The client intends to achieve the highest standards in sustainable campus development. Therefore, they intend to apply for green rating under GRIHA Large Development rating system.
