Providing capacity building in Energy efficiency Improvement Aspects for municpal water installations of Philippines and Sri LankanEngineers through on the job training
The objective of the proposed study is to incorporate energy issues in the ISPWDK watershed areas. In the areas of operation of its partner NGOs Samuha, Prawarda, and Myrada.
The main objective is to develop a tailor-made gasifier system package for arecanut processing in order to meet the thermal energy requirement for boiling and drying. The package will be field-tested in a selected site for demonstrations along with getting user feedback. This will help in arriving at a user-friendly and acceptable system package for future, large-scale promotion.
The objective is to develop low-cost and feasible technology options for treatment of waste water generated during biomass gasifier operation and producer gas clean-up process. Several waste water samples from different gasifier installations would be collected and analysed for characterization of waste water generated in biomass-gasifier-based systems.
The objective of the project is to develop a customized cement sector tool for the GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions that could be used by the Indian cement industry. The customized tool is expected to lead to greater acceptability of the tool by the cement plants.
The project has been implemented by TERI in partnership with the RKM (Ramakrishna Mission) and the Jadavpur University. The main goal and objectives of the project were (1) to create viable enterprises on both, demand and supply side of solar energy business in the remote rural location, (2) to create an organizational set-up, viz.
Feasibility study and selection of most suitable renewable energy technology for electrifying 36 remote villages in District Karauli of Rajasthan.
The objective of this project is to facilitate the uptake of compressed natural gas and natural gas as transportation fuel and primary energy source for consumers in six selected Indian cities (Faridabad, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata) in order to help reduce the worsening levels of air pollution from emissions of combustion products from the present energy sources being utilized. The projec
