The overall objective of the project is to develop a climate resilient and resource efficient green development strategy for Ladakh. A strategy which supports and balances economic growth and social inclusiveness and preserves the rich ecological diversity of the region.
The objective of this project is to prepare the Annual Environmental Status Report for 2019-2020 of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The report will highlight the status of air quality, water resources, land, solid waste management and health-related issues along with its impact and mitigation measures within the city.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), with guidance of ECCJ and support of TERI, has prepared the Energy Conservation (EC) Guidelines for Indian industry sector covering both large, as well as small-scale industries. Based on EC Guidelines, select Designated Consumers (DCs) have prepared their Energy Management (EM) Manuals. BEE has planned to increase awareness of key stakeholders on EC Guidelines & EM Manuals and develop verification system for compliance with EC Guidelines.
TERI proposes to investigate the current situation of two river basins of India, the Yamuna and the Musi which are struggling with the problem of pollution, using ‘Systems Thinking’ approach.
The aim of the project is to improve the lives of people living in rural communities of Mukteshwar, India, and Mumbachala, Ngabwe District, Zambia. The work will involve providing secure access to affordable electricity, assess social inclusion and gender equality benefits to local communities.
The main objectives of this project are to: (i) Manufacture microfiltration membrane filters from sugar industry ash in an industrial facility. (ii) Fix manufacturing parameters for different compositions of sugar industry ash. (iii) Demonstration for sewage treatment in a membrane bioreactor under field conditions.
