Monitoring and evaluation of Renewable Energy for Rural Livelihoods project under GOI/UNDP Country Cooperation Framework-II

TERI is involved with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact assessment under the UNDP-CCF-II, the afore-cited project is being implemented with the following objectives:- 1) Provide renewable energy for meeting cooking, lighting and motive power needs leading to additional income generation activities to enable the villages to cross the poverty line. For attaining this objective, an Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) of ?:1 has been benchmarked. Partnerships and savings need to be ensured for future investment and sustenance. 2) Resources from developmental programmes of other Ministries, such as Rural Development, Drinking Water Supply, Women and Child Development, Education, Health, etc. need to be obtained. 3) Develop public private partnership to leverage funds and other resources.
