Renewable Energy - Lowering tariffs, mounting challenges

States working in tandem with the Centre must look at the energy transition as a means to fulfil their commitment to universal energy access, pollution-free environment, and job creation. The execution of power evacuation infrastructure will have to keep pace with our overall vision of renewable energy development. We must take cognisance of the fact that often these under-appreciated risks can have wider ramifications. This necessitates much better alignment between policy goals and the key implementation partners, particularly at the state level. For resonance to occur in this critical sector, frequencies of all the stakeholders have to match.
