Flexible, light weight thin film technology is being developed by Power Roll Ltd. TERI supports Power Roll Ltd in subjecting the technology along with a few applications for field trials. TERI facilitates the technology dissemination and positioning them in the Indian market.
The proposed initiative aims to enhance carbon sequestration and to reduce pressure on forests from unsustainable collection of fuelwood through sustainable fuel wood management, deployment of energy efficient technologies and alternative fuel in select districts of Assam.
The project aims to develop technology for highly efficacious nitrogenous fertilizer using the tailor made mesoporous nanozeolite carrier that can enable the slow release and targeted delivery of the nitrogen.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), with the support of Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF), has launched a Distribution Utilities Forum (DUF) that brings together various distribution utilities across India to a single platform and envisages taking up issues and challenges in the distribution sector towards enabling distribution reforms. Based on the suggestions made by the Forum members in the first meeting of Distribution Utility Forum held on 4th May 2018, three themes have been identified.
This is an evidence- based study involving air quality assessment in the household environment. TERI’s role in this study is to provide aid in the monitoring of particulate matter (PM2.5) at the household level. This project will cover air quality assessment of around 50 households in the village belt of Ballabhgarh Tehsil of Faridabad district in Haryana. This is to check the association of the exposure of particulate matter mainly PM2.5 with human health.
The scope of work will be to carry out the survey to study the characteristics of electrical load which provides trend analysis and general characteristics of different categories of LT (low tension) and HT (high tension) consumers covering 23 divisions of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL).
The objectives of this Tech Camp are to: (1) Strengthen people-to-people ties between the United States, India and Afghanistan through exchange of information, experiences and expertise; (2) Increase the capacities of India and Afghanistan to address their challenges and prepare for the future by providing participants with entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills in the field of sustainable urbanization; and (3) Promote stronger Indian-Afghan ties through networking and people-to-people exchange.
The main objectives of this project are to: (1) Provide clean water to farmers using bank filtration technology; (2) Provide renewable electric power to off-the-grid farmers, thereby reducing stress on current electricity infrastructure; (3) Provide increased effectiveness solution for water use by farmers using IoT-based system.
Tremendous untapped potential exists in Goa to augment fish production from inland/brackishwater aquaculture resources, which are spread across the State that can contribute considerably to improve the livelihoods as also to the empowerment of rural people. The future development of aquaculture depends on the adoption of new and innovative production technologies, management and utilization of less utilized water resources and proper market tie-ups.
