Welspun mulling Rs 200 crore solar power project in Assam

Assam chief minister, Mr Tarun Gogoi, said that state government has tied up with TERI for the use and application of solar energy. The per-capita power consumption in Assam at a meagre 290 kilowatt hour is far below national average of 890 KWh per capita.
