A Whistle in the Fields



Habits are tricky things to change. About 60% of people in the world, who practice open defecation, happen to be in India. Kurukshetra district in Haryana was very much a part of this figure till some time back. And as the administration learnt, building a toilet was hardly enough. So how did things change? The film captures the efforts of the state and district administration in bringing about this much wanted change - of dealing with an everyday act in not-an-everyday manner.
