Webinar on Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016

TERI along with Abt Associates conducted a webinar on the present SWM Rules 2016, under the Climate and Clean Air Coalition's MSWI Initiative. The webinar highlighted the specific roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved such as pollution control boards, states, urban Local Bodies, operators of waste processing facilities in order to promote efficient handling of municipal solid waste, thus reducing the emissions from this sector.
