NanoBiotech@DBT is a platform initiated by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and is being taken forward by the TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre (TDNBC) under support and mentorship of the DBT.

This initiative aims to bring together academicians, researchers, industries and other stakeholders on a single platform to address important and critical scientific and technical challenges through translational research in the areas of nano-biotechnology. The focus will be to bring innovative research through knowledge, facility and infrastructure sharing, to facilitate constructive dialogue with domain experts on analysis and development of novel ideas, and to develop and execute strategy-driven research through interaction among professionals in the public and private sectors from across the country to deliver impactful results and turn them into action. The end result will be the one that will educate, inspire, and enrich the scientific community to bring effective solutions to the relevant scientific and technological challenges through collective brainstorming.
