TERI Hosts Key delegation from OIDB and MoP&NG

TERI had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished 12-member delegation to its Gwal Pahari campus, led by Mrs Varsha Sinha, Secretary, Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB), and Shri Rajesh Agarwal, Executive Director, Centre of High Technology (CHT), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, where they were warmly received by Dr Vibha Dhawan, Director General of TERI, who highlighted the institute’s impactful research and cutting-edge innovations in energy and sustainability before the delegation attended a series of comprehensive technical presentations outlining the key progress and updates of ongoing projects under the Plant Biotechnology and Biofuel Greenhouse Complex (PBBGC) area, which is actively supported by OIDB and CHT-MoP&NG and undertaken in close collaboration with premier industry partners such as IOCL and ONGC, with lead TERI scientist Dr Piyali Das sharing the milestone updates, after which the visitors were given an exclusive tour of TERI’s advanced research facilities to witness firsthand the innovative work being done at the Pyrolytic Biofuel Lab, the Bioreactor Unit, and the prominent TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre (TDNBC).
