Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) have signed an agreement to establish the “CFCL-TERI Centre of Excellence for Advanced and Sustainable Agriculture Solutions.” This five-year project will focus on advancing biogenic innovations to develop effective and eco-safe products for crop nutrition and protection, with the goal of promoting sustainability in agriculture.

The joint initiative aims to address key challenges facing the agricultural sector, including stagnating productivity, soil health degradation, low nutrient-use efficiency, resistance to chemical inputs, and the adverse impacts of excessive synthetic inputs on the environment and human health. Through innovative biogenic solutions, CFCL and TERI seek to create a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system.
