Ripples of Change: A film on safeguarding the marine environment

Cities Combating Plastic Entering the Marine Environment (CCPME) initiative aims to shift societal behaviours toward plastic waste and its impact on marine ecosystems. Through awareness campaigns and advocacy for no littering, waste segregation, and disposal, it endeavors to reduce plastic pollution entering the riverine and marine ecosystems and safeguard the marine environment.

This animation film helps to develop a scientific understanding of current environmental challenges and the solutions needed to address them. It has been made with support from MoHUA and GIZ.
