LaBL 2.0 – Lighting to Livelihood

LaBL 2.0 – Lighting to Livelihood marks the next phase of TERI’s globally recognised Lighting a Billion Lives initiative, now focused on leveraging clean energy to power sustainable livelihoods—particularly through women-led enterprises, rural micro-units, and productive-use renewable energy solutions. The initiative is receiving recognition and encouragement from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for advancing clean energy–driven livelihood solutions aligned with India’s sustainability goals. Officially launching at the 25th World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), LaBL 2.0 aims to scale renewable energy models that strengthen incomes, reduce emissions, and build resilient communities.
