Full On Nikki
Hosted by 'Nikki', a young woman that the target audience would identify with, this 78-episode series spanning six months was based on gender empowerment. Targeting boys and girls aged 10-19 years, and their parents, this programme was partnered by Unicef and BBC Action Media.
Each 12-minute episode was a mix of pre-recorded programming and community interaction through means such as phone-in interviews, participation of school children, vox pops etc. The programme tackled topics such as acid attacks, safe passage to school for girls, women in sports, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, etc.
