Development of MEOR seed culture for Tom O Corner fields
In the formation water samples (Six nos.) of Frio Formation from the Tom O'Connor Field provided by Glori, TERI determined the following:
i. Presence of Microbial Flora suitable for Microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) application.
ii. Ideal nutrient medium and standardization of growth parameters resulting in optimal conditions for MEOR application.
TERI also developed one seed culture and specific nutrient mixtures for the Tom O'Connor Field Frio Formation.
