Mr Utkarsh Singh is an Associate Fellow and Area Convenor in the Sustainable Buildings Division. With nearly seven years of professional experience, he has led and contributed to a diverse range of assignments focused on decarbonization, resource efficiency, and green building certification. His work spans the development and implementation of key national frameworks such as the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) and Eco Niwas Samhita (ENS), as well as the preparation of technical manuals for institutions like the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and GRIHA.
Mr Singh is actively involved in projects encompassing green building consultancy, energy and water audits, policy implementation, and project management. He also serves as the Assistant Technical Manager at TERI’s Materials Testing Centre of Excellence (MTCoE) in Gwal Pahari, where he oversees the testing and evaluation of building materials for thermal and photometric properties.
His expertise spans a wide range of sectors including commercial buildings, educational institutions, industries, and public infrastructure. He is proficient in software tools such as E-Quest and AutoCAD and has extensive hands-on experience with various testing and auditing instruments.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is a certified Energy Manager by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
