Ms Krishnapriya Nair

Ms Krishnapriya Nair is a Research Associate and Area Convenor at the Centre for Waste Management area of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). She specializes in municipal solid waste management, marine litter, and greenhouse gas emission estimation from the waste sector.

In her role, she undertakes comprehensive primary and secondary research, supporting cities and states across India in developing and implementing low-carbon waste management strategies. Her work spans scientific assessments, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building initiatives.

Ms. Nair holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi
