TERI in association with Électricité de France organises workshop on "Large Scale Deployment of Smart Grid: Opportunities and Strategies"

One of the major challenges faced by emerging economies, like India, is depleting conventional energy resources and enhancing energy access. Distributed generation together with application of smart grid solutions could help in addressing some of these challenges. Smart Grid not only manages the generation sources for optimum utilization but also allows consumers to participate in energy usage decisions by adopting latest digital technologies.
