Nuclear Renaissance in India: Public Acceptance a Key Challenge

Energy planners worldwide are looking at strategies for country-specific roadmaps to achieve net zero emissions to mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change. Several studies in this regard by different government and non-government organizations have been brought out in recent years. Most of these studies have focussed on increasing the share of renewable have focussed on increasing the share of renewable energy, especially solar and wind supported by adequate storage capacity. Nuclear energy is another option now receiving increasing attention as a potential supply-side option for clean energy.
