Navi Mumbai civic body takes another step towards green plan as it launches Eco City cell

The Navi Mumbai civic body, along with TERI, has launched the Eco City cell. The cell will be taking inputs from residents for the various infra and other projects coming up in the city for a more environment-friendly life, besides advising on green buildings. There was also a seminar-cum-workshop to brief the architects, builders and developers on the importance and means to incorporate sustainable development in their building plans.
