Workshop on "Benchmarking Industrial Water Use to assist policy for enhancing Industrial Water Use Efficiency in India"

TERI is organizing a one day workshop on "Benchmarking Industrial Water Use to assist policy for enhancing Industrial Water Use Efficiency in India". The objective of the workshop is to identify opportunities to enhance water use efficiency in coal based Thermal Power Plants and Textile industries of India. The workshop would focus on the best practices that can be adopted by these two sectors for achieving water use efficiency and reducing specific water consumption and the barriers faced by the industries in adopting these practices. The workshop would seek inputs from the distinguished sectoral experts and participants on opportunities available for enhancing water use efficiency in these two sectors.
