The Energy and Resources Institutes (TERI) under the Clean Air Project for India (CAP India) supported by The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is organising a webinar on 'Health Effects of Air Pollution (Pune and Nashik)', on June 29, 2021 between 2:00 - 3:30 PM.

Focusing on the two cities of Pune and Nashik, the webinar will address the adverse health impacts of air pollution and provide comprehensive insights on ways to reduce exposure to the pollutants at an individual level.

Following a brief explanation on air pollution the event will open up to a panel discussion with health experts dealing with patients suffering from diseases that can be attributed to air pollution.

The Clean Air Project in India aims to support the Government of India in its initiative to improve the air quality of four focused cities (Lucknow, Kanpur, Nashik and Pune) resulting in better health and well-being of its residents while contributing to environment and climate change mitigation. One of the key components of CAP India project is to sensitize general public about the sources and impacts of air pollution. It aims to disseminate knowledge and foster prolific discussions that translate into concrete actions to combat air pollution.
