Training Programme on Testing of Solar Lighting System

An eight-day training Programme on 'Testing of Solar Lighting Systems' was organized between October 6-15, 2014 at TERI University, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The training programme was organized by TERI's Solar Lighting Laboratory to build the capacity of Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) personnel.
The main objective of the training programme was to provide basic theoretical and comprehensive practical hands-on training to ECAE's personnel for implementing national and international standards in their country. The programme covered the detailed operation of test equipment, implementation of test methods, delivered quality report to improve the compliance of local manufacturers and importers of solar lighting systems.
