The training primarily aimed at highlighting the emerging issues of climate change, and helping officials identify opportunities available for more effective and holistic resource planning in the states. It received ardent participation from the state departments of Transport, Energy, Science & Technology, Environment, Housing & Development, Agriculture, and Forestry. There were discussions around climate change impact and vulnerability; national and international response; adaptation and mitigation strategies.
