NHRDN Summit Corporate Social Responsibility: 'From Act to Action'
With the precedent of the new CSR law under Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013, India Inc has got on with the CSR planning and implementation within the purview of the new law, since April 2014. With an estimated 8500 companies falling under the minimum CSR spend mandate, the new law has posed a challenge for the first timers as well as calls for larger companies already engaged in CSR activities to attune with the stipulated framework. The new law calls for a fresh perspective and renewed focus on the effective CSR processes, management, implementation apparatus and a responsive reporting mechanism. Recognizing these imperatives, NHRDN 2nd Summit on CSR will focus on 'From Act to Action' and will help organizations to prepare the blueprint for the action ahead.
