LEADearth Fellowship 2015-16: Orientation Week

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Genpact are organising the Orientation Week for LEADearth Fellows 2015-16 as part of LEADearthSHIP (A TERI-Genpact Youth Initiative). The Orientation Week for LEADearth Fellows will be held at Botanix Nature Resort, Gurgaon from December 16-23, 2015. The programme will be interspersed with foundational talks on leadership and sustainability, leadership, CSR, conflict resolution, communication and project management, pep talks, activities. Selected fellows will gain insights into the workings of a leader and demystify the often used and least understood concept and spirit of leadership. All the fellows are expected to work on their project ideas and give it a final shape which would be presented through posters during one of the sessions. Exposure visits will also be organized to impart knowledge where they will be taken to Orchha, a small village in Tikamgarh District in Madhya Pradesh and would get acquainted with co-existence and harmony at all level of self, environment and society.

LEADearthSHIP is a youth program on leadership and sustainability primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized universities and institutions of higher learning in Delhi NCR.The programme is based on the belief that young people of the country must be engaged in ideation, innovation and action that would ensure holistic development of the nation. 33 students have been selected from Delhi NCR as LEADearth Fellows through a rigorous selection process. 20 projects have been shortlisted of which 11 projects will be selected and implemented in groups of 3 Fellows each.
