Fourth Chief Sustainability Officers' (CSO) Conclave 2015-16

TERI Council for Business Sustainability (CBS) organized the fourth Chief Sustainability Officers' Conclave on April19, 2016 in TERI, IHC. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation from industry stalwarts. It started with the plenary session themed as 'Sustainability: The Cross Functional Approach'. The session proved out to be immensely valuable to the participants as it helped in establishing the cross functionality of the role of the Chief Sustainability Officer. It also highlighted the significance of inter-departmental interaction to drive the sustainability journey of an organization.

The plenary session was followed by various thematic breakaway sessions. These aimed at driving plans for future engagements with different industry sectors. These sessions mainly focussed on waste management, carbon neutrality, and water security. Leading Indian corporates such as Shree Cements, Indian Railways, HP, Coca Cola, CLP India, GAIL, and WIPRO participated in thematic tracks with utmost zeal.
