The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the D L Shah Trust for Applied Science, Technology, Arts, and Philosophy launched a book titled, Activity Based Environment Education: A Reference Book for Teachers, in Pune on September 19, 2014. The book was published under the project 'Sustaining Activity-based Environment Education'. He urged the teachers "to continue with imparting knowledge to students in such a way that it has a huge impact on their learning and life". Dr Suman Karandikar, a noted educationist, delivered the keynote address and urged the participating teachers to "explore and utilize various tools related to activity-based methods as these have long-term impact on learning".
