The commercial use of biodegradable polymers will reduce the dependence on synthetic polymers and its environmental impacts. Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) biopolymers are widespread among microbes and are used for storage of carbon and reducing equivalents in intracellular granules.

Water Infrastructure Actors in the Himalayan Region

The present study provides a synoptic documentation of the history of water infrastructure development over transboundary rivers in the Ganga (or the Ganges) sub-basin, involving Nepal, India and Bangladesh as the three riparian nations.
