The project is an upcoming World HQ building in Gurgaon and will involve different resource optimisation techniques with an aim to achieve 5-star GRIHA rating. The resource optimisation involves optimisation of energy and water consumption of the building. The optimisation will be done at different stages of the project and will start right at the construction stage by optimising the building design in terms of proper orientation, shading of wall, roof and glass. Various options of energy-efficient building envelope, lighting system, HVAC system will be analysed.

Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is coming up with a new Zonal Office building at Bhopal with a builtup area of around 17000 sqft. CPCB management envisages the proposed project to be a GRIHA rated project and intends to achieve the best standards in green building design and thus to achieve it TERI has been to render GRIHA consultancy and Facilitation services. In order to make the two stage biomass gasifier more effective, further improvements are needed in the technology as well in related aspects like the establishment of reliable biomass fuel supply chain for gasifier systems. The thermal gasifier too needs further modifications in order to accelerate its uptake among MSMEs. In particular, the following issues need to be addressed: (1) The reliability of the power gasifiers needs to be improved in terms of maintenance and downtime;

The proposed building has an area of 6311 m2. It is coming up in Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is a 6 storied hostel building consisting of 164 double seated rooms. The ground floor consists of parking and Warden / Caretaker and office rooms. It has two lifts, each with a capacity to carry 8 people. The green features of the project are as follows: a) Energy Conservation b) Use of PPC with additional fly ash c) No smoking zone during construction d) Daylight Utilisation

The office building of MTNL is located in Malad. It is designed as a green building and incorporates various features like tree preservation, deployment of PV panels, laobur health and safety on site during construction, use of fly ash bricks and conservation of water. The project is targeting a 3 star rating under GRIHA.
