A Climate Antidote: Building climate resilience in public health

Climate change continues to affect human health in various ways – whether it be in the form of increased heat stress or during the seasonal outbreaks of vector-borne diseases. These effects against the backdrop of the existing malnutrition issue means countries like India cannot afford to be indifferent to the climate change challenge. The short film by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Understanding Climate and Health Associations in India (UCHAI) identifies some of the challenges and explores possible solutions for building resilience in public health in the face of climate linked challenges.
