The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is organising a workshop on 'Gender Mainstreaming in Climate Change Mitigation Policy' under the project 'Developing Country Participation in Addressing Climate Change: Policy Instruments for Achieving NDCs', supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India. This specific research component of the project attempts to understand the various dimensions of enhancing gender equality while designing and implementing policies pursuant to India’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The workshop will be aimed at sharing TERI’s research with a view to receive inputs from different stakeholders and experts towards making the research output more representative and inclusive. We hope to create a platform to discuss pertinent questions around the theme in order to gauge experiences, thoughts and ideas from practitioners, academicians, and government officials alike. The workshop will be held on 25 October 2018, Thursday, 10am at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
