NMCG-TERI Centre of Excellence Water Reuse (NTCoE) has been jointly established by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. The NTCOE primarily aims to bring various stakeholders to a common platform to design and foster research and innovation, including the identification of knowledge gaps and the need for new ideas, supporting targeted research, and spurring and nurturing needed innovation for low-cost, effective and integrated wastewater treatment and water reuse technologies, which could bridge the current treatment gaps, boost treatment efficiency, augment capacities and provide safe treated water for reuse. Also, it aims to create knowledge, raise training standards, address skill gaps and align training & research with industry standards and requirements.

Coinciding with TERI’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, the Environment & Waste Management Division of TERI is organizing this International Conference on advancing Circular Economy and Water Reuse under the aegis of the NTCOE in collaboration with NMCG and FICCI. As we commemorate TERI's remarkable journey and achievements, this inaugural conference of the NTCOE looks forward to bringing together relevant stakeholders to discuss the current status and future need to advance towards Circular Economy and Water Reuse to meet commitments of various National Missions and UN SDGs.
