3. Agile Work Environment

By 2020, the millennials and Generation Z will comprise more than half of the workforce. These individuals
have grown up connected, collaborative and mobile, and their attitudes and expectations will have a major
impact upon how work is organized. Technological advances are making it easier for organizations to tap into
networks of anonymous workers through online ‘crowdsourcing’ and freelance platforms. Organizations that
are making use of these models are in essence ‘network orchestrators’, connecting to skills and resources on
demand, rather than owning them.











































3.1 Agile Knowledge

Agile knowledge means applying learning in an incremental and iterative approach, or evolving through
collaboration between self -organizing and cross functional teams to promote early delivery, continuous
improvement, and a rapid and flexible response to change. To be leaders in the field and remain successful,
future organizations have to meet several challenging criteria:
