Victoria Engels is speaking on behalf of the Goethe-Lab Sprache project team. Victoria Engels is the communication and knowledge management consultant at the Goethe-Lab Sprache. The Goethe-Lab Sprache is an experimental innovation unit or Lab at the Goethe-Institut e.V.. Key objectives for the interdisciplinary project team are the development of online learning products and services as well as research into the use of innovative technology in the field of language learning. The Goethe-Lab Sprache is the first Lab at the Goethe-Institut e.V.. It is, thus, within the scope of the project to collect insights into new ways of collaboration and agile project management methods. The Goethe-Lab Sprache took up work in August 2019.
Ms Safurat Balogun holds a degree in Social Sciences and Social Policy from University of Siegen, Germany. In an unprecedented career change, she joined Goethe-Institut Nigeria, the country of her birth, as the head of library and information, where she curated several influential projects including Literary Crossroads, Food Crossroads, Children Literature project and the Limbe to Lagos Nonfiction Workshop that produced an anthology, the first of its kind, of Nonfiction writing from Nigeria and Cameroon. She is currently the head of library services at Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi.
